The Cincinnati Base of the United States Submarine Veterans can provide recognition for completion of the rank of Eagle Scout within the Dan Beard Council. All other councils contact Vic Paterno at vicpaterno@comcast.net We ask that the Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chair or Advancement Coordinator contact the USSVI/Cincinnati Base if you have a Scout that has completed the rank of Eagle Scout and would be interested in receiving the recognition. A written request should be provided with the name of the Scout, Troop number, date and location of the Eagle Court of Honor. Also, a point of contact (email address would be fine). We will make arrangements for the patch, shown at right, and a certificate. If we have sufficient notice and it is requested, we will attempt to have a representative of the Submarine Veterans attend the Court of Honor to present the patch and certificate.
