scheduling for the Memorial Day parade.
4th order
of business: The next meeting will be held on 24 May 2003 @ 12 noon at a
location to be determined via e-mail.
A small
note to all. We want to thank the Mason VFW for allowing us to hold our
meeting at their location at no cost. We must keep in mind that when these
locations allow us to hold our meetings at no cost, they tend to expect us
to stay around and eat and maybe have a couple of beverages (i.e.: beer,
wine or soft drinks etc…). The Mason VFW had made a ton of food for us
(although we did not know about this until it was too late and most of our
members had gone home), and only a handful of people stayed around to eat.
The food was very good at that. Please try to keep this in mind for future
meetings and allow yourselves and spouses to plan ahead so that we can try
to keep the base costs down by eliminating the need for meeting location
charges.
CDR’s Call
for the “Good of the Order”: No information in this category today.
50/50
Raffle: Congratulations to Bill Schaefer for winning the Cincinnati Base’s
50/50 raffle. The raffle generated $53.00 for the base fund, and Bill won
$53.00.
Closing:
Great attendance and thank you to all. Let’s continue to build our
membership and keep all current members interested. Tim made the motion to
close the meeting and John seconds. All in favor.

Benediction
